The Angels’ best-of-five playoff series against Boston - the defending World Series champion - begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Angel Stadium.
Angels beat writer Bill Plunkett says the Angels will win it in five.

The Angels are better prepared to face Boston this year .
The additions of Tori Hunter and Mark Texeria, will
provide the muscle to enhance an already great lineup that
will be stronger than the red sox. The key to this series is going
to be starting pitching. If Lackey, Santana, and Saunders can pitch
effectively, we should be fine. If not, we would need Garland to step
up in middle relief to give the team a shot at a victory. The bats
also need to be hot, to out perform the talent over on the otherside.
They are the world champs because they are a very good club. Go
Angels!!!!! Bring your “A” game!
