Nationals up ante for Teixeira

MASN Online is reporting the Washington Nationals have sweetened their eight-year offer to Mark Teixeira, possibly putting it in the range of $178 million-$184 million.
The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network’s Roch Kubatko also writes he’s heard the Nationals are willing to go nine years, maybe 10 for the free-agent first baseman — so apparently agent Scott Boras has found this year’s Tom Hicks.

Angels GM Tony Reagins is expected Tuesday to finally address the team’s decision to bail out of the Teixeira dog and pony show.

    Mark Teixeira must like losing? Going from the Rangers as a losing team then having a chance to play for the Angels in the Playoffs then wanting to go the Nationals??

    Teixeira can go to the Nationals and loss a 100 games a year!!!!

    Then he can watch the Angels in the World Series!!!!!

    Go Angels - we do not need Teixeira to win we have shown that already!!!
