With that red-letter day on baseball calendars (pitchers and catchers report) just 38 days away, KLAA/830 AM is going to start getting you ready for Angels’ spring training by starting the 2009 season of “Angels Tonight” — tonight (Wednesday).

The two-hour show will air each Wednesday at 7 p.m. beginning tonight and running into the start of spring training. Hosted by Terry Smith, Jose Mota and Jeff Biggs, the show will feature interviews and call-in segments.  Fans can also email questions to angelstonight@am830klaa.com.

  • marty says:

the angels were good before teixera got here and they will be good after. k-rod and fuentes are pretty much equal. stop complaining.

  • mariOC says:

Pretty much equal.??How is that ok for a true fan. I guess some fans are ok with a 1st round knock out.. Im not..PUNK!!

  • haloluvr says:

Wow MariOC I hope your not around the ball park this season with you less then positive attitude. I’m with Marty, we were just fine before Tex. I’m not interetsed in a guy who led us around for weeks wondering if he would sign while all along his wife already told him where he would be playing. The Angels have chemistry and that is what makes them a great, ca ompetetive team. So Stop whining or go be a NY fan!

  • mariOC says:

WOW !!!! I’m truly amazed how so call Angel fans, are happy on just winning a divsion title. Am I the only one who wants to win the World Series?

  • James Colbert says:

How about a middle ground between mariOC and haloluvr? First of all, you don’t call anyone a ‘punk’ for refusing to give up. In addition, it’s something less than courageous to call people names while you remain safely hidden behind your screen name. We don’t need and shouldn’t want that money-grubbing mercenary Texiera! He’s an example of everything that’s WRONG with baseball today. Arte Moreno is the best thing that’s ever happened to the Angels. Having said that, I’m not very impressed with Tony Reagins and his non-stop mantra of ‘we like our club’ and ‘we’ll play our kids’; he sounds very naive. We definitely need a left handed hitter with some power. There are many good free agent bats out there; even if you can’t get a lefty, Reagins…get someone! We won before Texiera because of our pitching; I don’t remember anyone ever saying that our offense was OK. It needed improvement then and it really needs improvement now. Get it done, Reagins.
