So the Braves are apparently not that interested in bringing Andruw Jones back. We all know how bad he was last year, and to a lesser extent the year before, but I really can’t figure out how much Jones has left. As late as June of last year I was still wasting a roster spot on him in one fantasy league, and there’s a small part of me that thinks he can still hit. A small, small, small, small, small, small, small part of me.

For what it’s worth, the CHONE projections forecast .232/.329/.450 (which actually makes him an above average hitter, by a hair) and 28 home runs. Marcel projections say .225/.317/.404 and 14 home runs. The guy who sits next to me forecasts Jones will finish that entire pizza himself.
