Rangers wives include ‘Gold Digger,’ not gold medalist

April 3rd, 2009, 7:29 am · 2 Comments · posted by Earl Bloom, staff writer

Kris Benson made the Texas rotation, but Casey Daigle, top, was recently released by the Rangers.

Which means the Rangers wives will include poker-playing Anna Benson, but not softball star Jennie Finch, at right with husband Daigle.

Startelegram.com reports Daigle allowed one run in six major-league exhibition innings before being sent to minor-league camp in the first cuts.

OK, back to baseball.

I was a Jennie Finch person to start. I’m not sure if ESPN ruined her for me, but I’ve really fallen off her bandwagon. All of those years in the sun didn’t help. But there is something alien-like about her.
