The OC Weekly is reporting that Courtney Stewart, the 20-year-old who was driving Nick Adenhart on the night he was killed, was also over the legal alcohol limit. Since she was underage, even .01 percent is over the limit, but her .16 was twice the legal limit for adults.
UPDATE: Register reporter Eugene Fields has a story up now saying that the correct blood-alcohol reading for Stewart is .06, not .16.
The big question, if this is confirmed, is how it will affect the prosecution of Andrew Gallo, who ran a red light while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license when he hit and killed Stewart, Adenhart and Henry Pearson, then fled the scene.

So Arte, still proud the first thing you did was lower beer prices ?
This is in no way Arties fault. How do you know she even had her drinks at the stadium and not somewhere else. Its very sad a bunch of bad decisions were made that night that ended up costing three very young talented people their lives. May they all rest in peace
