* An MRI on Ervin Santana’s elbow showed no structural damage, but Manager Mike Scioscia indicated he still might be headed to the disabled list because of forearm inflammation.

* Torii Hunter (who hit the wall hard Monday) likely will miss the last two games of this series, though he said he would lobby Scioscia to play Wednesday so he can face Tim Lincecum. That raises the question: Why would he want to face Tim Lincecum?
