
The Yankees no longer are making any effort to hide it. They find it a miserably difficult task trying to beat the Angels, especially at Angel Stadium. They’re 5-16 in their last 21 games at the Big A.
The Angels were missing Torii Hunter and Vladimir Guerrero for the first two games of this series. Didn’t matter. They scored 24 runs.
“They play the game hard and they play it right,” New York pitcher Andy Pettitte said of Mike Scioscia’s team.
