ANAHEIM
Not that the Angels like to keep things to themselves or anything but …. Angels manager Mike Scioscia just mentioned today that right-hander Dustin Moseley had hip surgery earlier this month.
Moseley has been on the DL since April when a nerve problem that was affecting his neck and arm acted up. That discomfort was eventually dealt with but Moseley began having problems with his left hip and had to shut down his throwing program.
That eventually led to arthroscopic surgery in Nashville, Tenn. earlier this month.
Moseley is expected to be ready to participate in baseball activities when spring training opens next February.
Is Moseley currently on the 60 day DL?
Moseley, Escobar and Shields are all on the 60-day DL.
Get well soon, Dustin.
