I can’t get this song out of my head as the Angels lead, 4-0

I’m going to give Fox’s Joe Buck, Tim McCarver and even first-base umpire Dale Scott a pass so far, even though Scott had the first blown call of the night.

Ever since Vladimir Guerrero’s RBI double followed Torii Hunter’s two-run single in the first inning, there’s this certain song by the bee_gees_stayin_aliveBee Gees that keeps playing in my head.

And, I wasn’t a disco guy. I just watched the movie “Airplane” a lot.

Fox’s Ken Rosenthal had a nice report on John Lackey’s upcoming free agency, noting “there’s been plenty of comparisons to his opponent tonight, A.J. Burnett.

“Lackey will want more than Burnett (who makes $16.5 million annually). He’s generally been considered more reliable.”

So we now head to the bottom of the fourth, with Lackey fully in control and the Angels ahead 4-0.
