Boston fans team up on Angels’ fan in wheelchair

October 12th, 2009, 1:18 pm by Brian Perdue

bosox_blogI was just told this great story by Eric Carpenter, an Orange County Register reporter who attended Friday night’s game at Angel Stadium.

Eric grew up in Anaheim, graduated from Anaheim High School and has been rooting for the Angels all his life:

“So, I’m walking to the Angels game on Friday night and I see a couple of Sox fans turn around and start jawing at an Angels fan in a wheelchair and I’m thinking, ‘Oh, no. What’s this?’ Turns out, they offer to push him about a quarter-mile to the stadium entrance. … Thought it was a pretty cool moment.”

Proof positive that all Red Sox fans are not… well, you know.
